General terms of use of the Climalact platform and user information
The Fundación Empresa Universidad Gallega – hereinafter FEUGA, with Tax ID G15051667, registered address at Rúa Lope Gómez de Marzoa s/n, 15705 Santiago, email address feuga@feuga.es, and registered in the Register of Foundations of the Xunta de Galicia under number 155 – makes the www.climalact.es PLATFORM (hereinafter PLATFORM) available to Internet users free of charge. Access to and/or use of the PLATFORM is entirely voluntary and grants the person doing so the status of USER. From the moment of access, every USER fully and unreservedly accepts the content of these “General Terms and Conditions” as well as, where applicable, the “Specific Terms and Conditions” that may complement, replace, or modify them in any way in relation to the services and content of the PLATFORM. Consequently, the USER must carefully read both the General and Specific Terms before accessing and using any service of the PLATFORM, under their sole responsibility. In any case, FEUGA reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to deny access to this site to any users who fail to comply with these general terms or any applicable specific terms. We also inform you that we comply with the obligation to have at least one of the domains we own registered with the corresponding registry.
Purpose and modification of terms
FEUGA provides USERS with the possibility to browse and access the contents and services of the PLATFORM, provided they do so in accordance with the provisions of these GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
In any case, FEUGA reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to modify or remove the content, structure, design, services, and access and/or usage conditions of this site whenever it deems appropriate.
User responsibility
The USER undertakes to use the services and content provided by the PLATFORM in accordance with current legislation, the principles of good faith, and generally accepted practices, and to refrain from any actions through the website that may contravene public order. Therefore, any use for unlawful purposes or that may harm, hinder, damage, and/or overload in any way the use and normal functioning of the PLATFORM, or that directly or indirectly harms the PLATFORM or any third party, is strictly prohibited.

The USER shall be solely responsible for the use of this site and for full compliance with these GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Consequently, the USER undertakes to keep their access credentials, passwords, or similar data assigned to access the PLATFORM or any of its services strictly confidential and private. The USER shall be held responsible for any damages of any kind resulting from misuse, whether by themselves or third parties—whether affecting the USER due to their own negligence, or affecting FEUGA as a result of non-compliance with these GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
Any violation of these GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS may give rise to the corresponding civil or criminal, extrajudicial or judicial proceedings against the USER.
User registration
FEUGA reserves certain Services offered through the PLATFORM for USERS who register by completing the forms available on the website. Nevertheless, FEUGA provides users with certain Services whose use requires the completion of additional registrations by the USERS.
FEUGA will automatically process Personal Data for the purposes and under the conditions defined in its Privacy Policy, which is included in this Legal Notice.
Disclaimer of warranties and liability
FEUGA does not guarantee nor assume responsibility, under any circumstances, for the following events and contents, nor for any damages that may arise from them:
Lack of availability, continuity, access, maintenance, and effective operation of the website and/or its services, as well as the update, accuracy, completeness, relevance, timeliness, and reliability of its content, regardless of the cause, and any technical or other difficulties or problems originating from these events. The transmission and/or existence of viruses, or other harmful elements or programs that may affect the user’s equipment as a result of accessing, using, or browsing the site, or cause alterations to their electronic documents or files.
The unlawful, negligent, fraudulent use, impersonating a third party, or contrary to the content of these general terms, good faith, generally accepted practices, or public order, of the website, its services, and content by USERS.
Flaws or defects in the content and/or services accessed through the PLATFORM.
For the reception, storage, obtaining, dissemination, or transmission of content by USERS from the PLATFORM.
For the knowledge of any information that unauthorized third parties may possess or use regarding the characteristics and circumstances of the use of the content and services of the PLATFORM by USERS.
For the failure of third parties to comply with their obligations arising or contracted in relation to the services provided to USERS through the PLATFORM, as well as for the lack of quality, reliability, suitability, legality, utility, and availability of services provided by third parties and made available to USERS on this site.
The previous enumeration is merely indicative and, under no circumstances, exclusive or restrictive in any of its points. In all cases, FEUGA EXCLUDES ANY LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY ARISING FROM THEM, AND FROM ANY OTHER UNSPECIFIED DAMAGES OF SIMILAR CHARACTERISTICS.
Intellectual and industrial property rights
The texts, designs, images, databases, logos, structure, trademarks, and other elements of this site are protected by intellectual and industrial property laws and international treaties. Any reproduction, transmission, adaptation, translation, modification, public communication, or any other exploitation of all or part of the content of this site, carried out in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, or otherwise, is strictly prohibited unless prior written authorization is obtained from FEUGA. Any infringement of these rights may result in the corresponding civil or criminal extrajudicial or judicial proceedings.
FEUGA grants no license or authorization of any kind for the use of its intellectual and industrial property rights or any other property or rights related to the PLATFORM, its services, or its content.
In order to preserve potential intellectual property rights, if any USER or third party believes that a violation of their legitimate rights has occurred due to the introduction of certain content on the website, they must notify this circumstance in writing to: FEUGA, Rua Lope Gómez de Marzoa s/n (Campus Universitario Sur) 15705 Santiago de Compostela.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
These general terms and conditions shall be governed by Spanish law.
For any issues that may arise or actions that may be taken arising from the provision of the PLATFORM’s service, its services and content, and the interpretation, application, compliance, or breach of what is established herein, FEUGA and the USER, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them, submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Santiago de Compostela.
